Pull up a chair.
Dig a little deeper and you’ll find that I am also a lover of God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and a grateful recipient of so many blessings. I am compassionate. I am someone who has always wanted to help people in difficult situations. I am a mentor and love to see others achieving their goals. I am an empathetic listener who really cares about what you have to say. I am absolutely and totally fascinated by relationships.
Dig even deeper and you'll learn that I experienced infertility. It was one of the most challenging experiences of my life and most days I did not handle it well. I was overcome by negative emotions and felt very alone. That experience taught me the true power of my thoughts and the true power of my faith.
I am imperfect and am learning to be okay with that every day.
That’s something I ask myself on a regular basis and here’s what I’ve come up with…so far. I started coaching because I want to help people have great relationships and a life they love. By great relationships, I mean ones that are full of happiness and joy, relationships that add wonderful things to your life, relationships where you can be yourself, others can be themselves and no one’s stuff is in the way. And to me, loving your life doesn't mean that everything is perfect and happening the way you want. It's accepting reality, every piece of it, and being content and grateful for all.
I started coaching because I honestly believe I have knowledge, skills and experiences that can help you. I was trained at the best public health school in the country. I have studied relationships and how people both protect and put themselves at risk for a variety of health issues. I have written curricula, and have conducted countless trainings, presentations and workshops on a range of relationship and life skills.. I think deeply about my own experiences and use that information to understand and connect to what you may be going through.
From an intellectual perspective, I understand completely what it takes to have great relationships and to love our lives. You probably do too. Still, somehow, something stands in the way of what we know to do and what we actually do. I started coaching to find answers to why that is and to create solutions to bring what we want and what we do into closer alignment. I’m also someone who’s made a ton of mistakes and had some hard times. I learned and am truly grateful for what those experiences taught me about myself. It is by working through those experiences that I found strategies and tools that really worked for me. I started coaching to offer the best of those strategies to you.
I’m Chavonne, and I’d love to get to know you. If you could relate to anything I've said, let me know! Reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
